About the Employer: Intoxalock is seeking a Software Development Manager. Intoxalock is a state-of-the-art alcohol monitoring device. The device will prohibit a vehicle from starting if an alcohol source is detected. It is primarily used by people who are legally required to have an ignition interlock device in their vehicle because of a DUI violation. Our goal is to help drivers return to the road in a safe and law-abiding manner. Additionally, more and more users are beginning to voluntarily install the device as a safety precaution for their families and businesses.

Job Title: Software Development Manager

Job Duties: Develop applications (SDLC) utilizing: C#, VB.NET; XML, WCF, JSON, WSDL, SOAP, REST Web Services; WPF, MVVM framework; Agile methodology, DevOps; MS Access and LINQ; SQL Server, SSRS and SSIS reporting tools; TFS, SVN, VSS source control tools; SMS communication interfaces, including Twilio API; Remote sensing devices; ASP.NET, MVC, Enterprise Library, Entity Framework; Java Script; PCI DSS. (25%) Manage a team of software developers, providing mentorship, oversight, and resource planning and allocation. Perform code reviews. Provide technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development life cycle for business applications using C#, VB.NET; XML, WCF, JSON, WSDL, SOAP, REST Web Services; WPF, MVVM framework; Agile methodology, DevOps; MS Access and LINQ; SQL Server, SSRS and SSIS reporting tools; TFS, SVN, VSS source control tools; SMS communication interfaces, including Twilio API; Remote sensing devices; ASP.NET, MVC, Enterprise Library, Entity Framework; Java Script; PCI DSS. (25%) Identify technical issues, provide support and problem resolution. Lead design reviews for developers, provide feedback on architecture and design issues. (25%) Collaborate with Architecture, Database Administration, Network Administration and hardware Engineering teams to ensure design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery of software applications comply with systems, platforms, services, technologies and business requirements. Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business objectives, define technical direction. (25%)

Minimum Job Requirements: Must have Master’s Degree or a foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, plus three (3) years of related work experience in software development in the job offered or a closely related position with similar duties under a different job title. In the alternative, may have a Bachelor’s Degree or a foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, plus five (5) years of post-bachelor’s progressive related work experience in software development in the job offered or a closely related position with similar duties under a different job title.

Experience to include: Performing all aspects of software development life cycles; Developing software applications utilizing: C#, VB.NET; XML, WCF, JSON, WSDL, SOAP, REST Web Services; WPF, MVVM framework; Agile methodology, DevOps; MS Access and LINQ; SQL Server, SSRS and SSIS reporting tools; TFS, SVN, VSS source control tools; SMS communication interfaces, including Twilio API; Remote sensing devices; including 36 months of experience in ASP.NET, MVC, Enterprise Library, Entity Framework; Managing IT projects, software developers, and reviewing code; including 24 months of experience in: Java Script; PCI DSS. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
