What to do after a DUI charge can be confusing. Intoxalock is here to help. This article outlines the steps you need to take and the information you should have ready to provide when you schedule your Intoxalock ignition interlock device installation.

Do I need to have my state approval before scheduling my install?

You do not need to have California state approval to schedule your device installation. You can expedite the process by having the IID installed as soon as possible if your conviction requires it. Call us at (833) 623-0200to schedule now.

How does my DL290 form count towards my required time?

Your IID fulfillment period will begin as soon as the device is installed and you provide the DL920 form to the CA DMV MAU. The DL920 form is available by request through the CA DMV. DMV IID fulfillment will then start.

At the same time that you are submitting your DL920 form, Intoxalock provides a separate form to your state monitoring authority. You won’t have to do anything extra for this form to be submitted.
