Mindr Appoints Diedre Dunn as General Counsel
DES MOINES, Iowa, May 28, 2025 -- Mindr, the industry leader in substance detection, monitoring and safety technology, today announced the appointment of Diedre Dunn as General Counsel. In this role, Dunn will lead Mindr’s legal strategy, compliance efforts and corporate governance initiatives, serving as a key member of the executive leadership team in advancing the company’s mission to transform public safety through technology that saves lives by preventing impairment.
Dunn brings more than 25 years of legal and business leadership expertise in mergers and acquisitions, complex transactions and strategic risk management to Mindr, along with extensive experience in the private equity sector, including advising on investments, portfolio management and value creation strategies. Her background includes a wide range of experience working in public, nonprofit, private and pre-IPO companies across the healthcare, food and beverage, consumer products, retail and real estate industries.

Prior to joining Mindr, Dunn served as Associate General Counsel at Ethos Veterinary Health Inc., a $2 billion international healthcare company, where she led mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, healthcare compliance, intellectual property and securities matters. She has a history of building high-performing teams and applying AI and automation to streamline systems and drive business alignment. Dunn began her legal career in corporate law, advising on M&A, securities and governance matters. Her experience includes working for notable companies, including McDonald's, Ulta, Vi Senior Living, the National Equity Fund, Hyatt and MacCabe & McGuire P.C.

Dunn earned her law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and holds a Securities Law Certificate from Cornell Law School. She is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Ohio and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois.
