College students are often the focus of alcohol safety campaigns themselves. Incoming freshmen are warned of the dangers of drinking too much, and all the potential harm it can cause. Alcohol safety presentations are part of many orientation night events. Students are warned not to binge drink, to stay with their friends, and to call for safe rides.
Intoxalock shares this mission of ensuring safer roads for all by preventing drunk driving. Our ignition interlock devices can be used as part of a DUI sentence, or as a voluntary safety measure to prevent drunk driving. Either way, the IID prevents the driver from committing a crime. If they have any alcohol in their system, the device won’t allow them to start their car. Ignition interlock devices help separate drinking from driving and are effective at cutting down the number of alcohol-related traffic injuries and fatalities.
Intoxalock is looking for college students who also want to share this important message with their peers.
