Starting The Car

1. Get in car and put seatbelt on
2. DO NOT PUT KEYS IN THE IGNITION
3. Push button on Intoxalock®
4. Wait for messages: [voltage], [Serial#], [Version], [Clearing], [Blow]
5. Blow into mouthpiece as directed in your manual
6. Look at unit, LED will display BAC level
7. If BAC is low enough, LED will say [Passed], [Start Car]
8. Put keys in ignition
9. Start vehicle

Rolling Retests

1. Unit beeps and says, [Rolling Retest]
2. Wait a moment until test can be taken safely, or pull over if the conditions are dangerous
3. Pick up hand-held unit
4. Wait for messages - [Clearing], [Blow]
5. Blow into mouth piece for 5 or 6 seconds until unit beeps twice
6. Look at unit, LED will display BAC level
7. If BAC is low enough, LED will [Passed]
8. Continue driving

Turning The Car Off

1. Park car
2. Turn the ignition off
3. REMOVE KEYS FROM THE IGNITION
4. Look at handheld unit and wait for restart countdown to begin
5. If unit requests a [Rolling Retest], take test and then exit
6. If countdown begins without [Rolling Retest], then exit
